Willesborough Baptist Church is not a building but a growing family of ordinary people, young and elderly, who have discovered the reality of God in their lives through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

We see our purpose as being committed together in our worship of the living God, with a spirit of joy and love that naturally overflows to others within the body of Christ. We seek the gifts God longs to give His people, and use what gifts and talents He has already given us, all for His glory and the building up of the Body of Christ.

We endeavour to discover God's way for us through prayer and the study of the Bible, which is God's book. This initial expression of Christ's Lordship is in Believers Baptism, and we follow Jesus' command to share in the Lord's Supper.

We have responsibility to love and care for one another, to support and encourage. We share the love of Jesus by seeking to serve the community. We need God's resources in the empowering of the Holy Spirit to be Christ's people and to live with Christian values. We proclaim the good news of Jesus believing that He wants to meet the deepest needs of every person.
