As we share together in the life of the church
at Willesborough, God makes us aware of our
responsibility to reach out and care for each
other within the church family, and the
community around us.
We recognise that life can become a
little difficult at times for all of
us and it is at those times that we
often could do with additional
support whether this is on a
practical level in a crisis or some
advice and support.
We have a small team of
volunteers who have offered their
time and skills to support people in
such situations in the following
areas:–
|
DIY Decorating |
Child Minding |
Visiting |
Prayer Support |
|
Ironing |
School Runs |
Cooking / Providing
meals |
Painting
|
|
Housework |
Babysitting |
Car Maintenance |
Gardening |
|
Shopping |
Transport |
Form Filling |
Dog Walking |
Through the backgrounds and in some
cases the personal experience of
some of our Church family we can
also offer support for the
following: –
|
Financial concerns |
Domestic violence |
Bereavement counselling |
|
Legal issues |
Miscarriage |
Mental health |
|
Alcohol abuse |
Counselling
|
Social care |
We
also believe that Prayer is an
essential tool in our armour –
sometimes we feel unable to pray for
ourselves but within the Pastoral
Care Team there are a number of
people that would be happy to pray
with you or for you.
We also have an email prayer chain
where over 20 people will all pray
for you.
If
any of the above support would be
helpful please contact
June Ashman.
